Job Summary
The Facilities Project Engineer is responsible for managing capital investment projects and maintenance initiatives in a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on facility expansions, equipment upgrades, and large-scale maintenance projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and safety compliance. Key responsibilities include leading CAPEX projects, assessing aging equipment, coordinating facility improvements, planning production shutdowns, and managing vendors. Candidates must possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and proficiency in AutoCAD and project management software.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated success managing capital projects exceeding $500,000
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design tools
- Experience with project management software (MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent)
