Job Summary
Design power, controls, and process instrumentation per the NEC, including hazardous classified locations. Develop electrical schematics, panel layouts, and variable frequency drives for motor control applications. Provide detailed cost estimates and project designs in AutoCAD. Troubleshoot industrial electrical equipment and work with maintenance craftsmen. Integrate and specify electrical equipment for robotics, PLCs, servo drives, and HVAC systems. Work in the field, climb ladders, and operate in congested areas. This 9/80 schedule includes a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday with every other Friday off.
Required Qualifications
- Level 2 BS in Engineering with an emphasis in electrical/automation
- 2 years minimum or 0 with a Master's degree in industrial facility electrical design experience
- Industrial power and control design experience
- PLC systems and design experience
- AutoCAD drafting ability
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security Clearance
- Ability to work in the field, climb ladders, work outside, and work in congested areas
- Level 3 BS in Engineering with an emphasis in electrical/automation
- 5 years minimum or 3 with a Master's degree in industrial facility electrical design experience
- Ability to work in the field, climb ladders, work outside and work in congested areas
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security Clearance
