Job Summary
Facilities Operator/Maintenance Mechanic responsible for maintenance and repairs of equipment and facilities, including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems; coordinates maintenance programs, applies Lean Six Sigma methods, leads and coaches operating teams, interfaces with stakeholders, and utilizes CMMS (SAP & UpKeep) for maintenance work; requires 3 years of maintenance-related experience, strong communication, leadership, and the ability to work any shift including weekends; 2nd shift role with on-site responsibilities at the Loves Park, IL facility.
Required Qualifications
- 3 yrs. Experience in a Maintenance Role or equally demonstrated mechanical/electrical skills.
- read written instruction including CMMS (SAP & UpKeep)
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems
- excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- leadership and teamwork abilities
- ability to work any shift and weekends
- strong writing and interpersonal skills
- safety and compliance knowledge (OSHA, GMP, FDA)
