Job Summary
Facilities Operator to maintain sanitation, safety and operational efficiency by cleaning production floors, warehouse areas, and office spaces. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, operating powered floor scrubbers, removing debris and hazardous waste, managing trash and recycling, restocking supplies, and notifying management of maintenance needs. Duties also cover sanitizing high-touch surfaces and restrooms, adhering to safety protocols, performing minor facility maintenance (e.g., changing light bulbs, HVAC cleaning), and inspecting for safety hazards. The role requires proficiency with industrial cleaning equipment, knowledge of chemical cleaners and safety regulations (OSHA), physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and work in a fast-paced environment, and strong attention to detail to maintain a clean, organized facility.
