Facilities & Operations Support Technician

Job Summary
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the shop, offices, restrooms, and common areas while performing general janitorial tasks like trash removal, sweeping, and restocking supplies. Support scrap, chip, and waste removal processes and assist with light facility maintenance, minor repairs, and basic troubleshooting. Execute local pickups, deliveries, and errands for supplies, materials, and PPE, while operating equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and company vehicles as trained. Monitor janitorial and facility inventory, ensure safe walkways and emergency exits are clear, and communicate maintenance or supply concerns to leadership. Assist with setup and cleanup for employee meetings and company activities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the facility for extended periods
- Proficient in, or willing to be trained on, material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, carts, forklifts, or other shop equipment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Dependable, flexible, and willing to support multiple departments as business needs change
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in manufacturing, facilities support, maintenance, janitorial, warehouse, shipping/receiving, or operations support
- Experience with lean manufacturing and quality systems such as ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485, and AS9100D
- Previous experience using standard shop tools, hand tools, and basic measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
