Facilities Operations Manager - Hyde Park Village

Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day operation and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems at the Hyde Park Village Tampa asset. Implement preventative and predictive maintenance programs while conducting routine inspections to identify operational, safety, and aesthetic issues. Manage service providers for landscaping, janitorial, security, and specialty trades, and support tenant fit-outs and capital projects by reviewing MEP plans and coordinating with contractors. Own the development and management of operating and CAM budgets, evaluate repair versus replacement decisions, and support emergency response for after-hours building system issues. Requires 5–8+ years of commercial facilities experience and a strong working knowledge of building systems.
Required Qualifications
- 5–8+ years of commercial facilities or property operations experience
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical distribution, plumbing infrastructure, and building automation systems
- Experience supporting tenant construction or capital projects within an active commercial property environment
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and MEP plans
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Customer-service mindset with the ability to operate in a high-touch retail environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience managing vendors and service contracts in a Class A retail, mixed-use, or hospitality environment
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, or related field
