Job Summary
Facilities Operations Manager to lead 24/7 facilities operations and maintenance for data-center environments. Responsible for supervising maintenance teams, overseeing HVAC/electrical/plumbing/fire/life-safety systems, implementing preventive/predictive maintenance, ensuring regulatory compliance and safety, managing budgets, coordinating with vendors, conducting audits, and driving energy efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives. Must hold an active TS/SCI clearance (with potential Polygraph) and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, plus minimum 5 years of experience in 24x7 facilities operations and leadership. Strong knowledge of building systems, safety standards, and documentation practices; ability to lead on-call emergency response and cross-functional collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI with Polygraph prior to starting
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in leading 24x7 critical operations including facilities operations and maintenance management
- Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety)
- Proven experience managing budgets and optimizing operating costs
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proficiency with facilities management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Relevant technical licenses (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing) preferred
