Job Summary
Facilities/Mechanical Engineer role responsible for facility and utility optimization, overseeing HVAC and piping projects, building automation and critical utilities (WFI, clean steam), managing construction activities, and producing O&M procedures. Requires a BS in engineering and 5+ years of facilities/mechanical engineering experience; proficiency in CAD/drafting; strong written and verbal communication; ability to coordinate with maintenance, project managers, vendors, and engineering leadership to design, implement, and optimize engineering projects in a GMP/FDA-regulated environment. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, science, or technical discipline
- 5+ years of prior experience in a facilities/mechanical engineer position
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Drafting, CAD, or blueprint reading experience/training
