Job Summary
Facilities Mechanic responsible for routine maintenance, repair of equipment, machinery, and buildings at Consumer Reports’ Yonkers, NY headquarters. The role covers on-demand staff requests, event setups, emergency calls, safety compliance, inventory management, and emergency evacuations, plus upkeep of grounds and fixtures. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years of maintenance experience; trade certification preferred. On-site position not eligible for sponsorship or relocation assistance. Competitive salary in the $69k–$71k range across three locations (Yonkers, NY; Washington, DC; Colchester, CT).
