Job Summary
Oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of a multi-site portfolio comprising five corporate office locations and one industrial warehouse across three countries. Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs for building systems, coordinate repairs and renovations from planning through completion, and standardize vendor contracts and service levels to drive cost efficiency. Lead lease negotiations, renewals, and amendments while monitoring payments, escalations, and operating expense reconciliations. Ensure compliance with building codes, OSHA regulations, and safety standards while serving as the primary point of contact for landlords and property management teams. Respond to facility emergencies and provide after-hours support as needed. This role supports the company's mission to commercialize fusion energy through safe, efficient, and productive physical environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of progressive facilities management experience
- Demonstrated experience managing a multi-site facilities portfolio (5+ locations), including commercial lease negotiation, administration, and vendor standardization across sites
- Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, vendor management, and regulatory compliance
- Excellent project management, budgeting, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Valid employment authorization in the United States (E-Verify)
- Ability to comply with applicable U.S. Export Control Laws and obtain required government authorizations if access to controlled technology is needed
