The Facilities Manager oversees the daily operation and maintenance of the Washington Ballet's facilities. Key responsibilities include inspection, repair, vendor management, staff supervision, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in facilities management, preferably in performing arts or educational institutions
  • Hands-on skills in general maintenance and ability to coordinate with contractors
  • Knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and perform physical tasks
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed to support performances and events

Desired Qualifications

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English strongly preferred
