Job Summary
Oversee building, equipment, and grounds maintenance to ensure cleanliness and safety while supervising Maintenance Associates and Technicians. Perform routine repairs, schedule inspections for refrigeration and forklifts, and manage contractor relationships for emergency work. Conduct safety inspections of power equipment, maintain sanitation standards per USDA and AIB guidelines, and prepare facilities for inclement weather. Assist in recruiting, training, and performance reviews for team members while managing timekeeping and fiscal budgets. Works independently and collaboratively with other departments to support the Food Bank's mission in a warehouse setting.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- high school or equivalency diploma
- valid New York State driver's license
- ability to obtain and maintain power equipment certification
- ability to lift up to 80 pounds without assistance
Desired Qualifications
- Prior supervisory experience
- experience operating power equipment
