Job Summary
Oversee daily operations, maintenance, and safety of the corporate facility in Melville, NY, ensuring mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems operate efficiently. Troubleshoot, repair, modify, or refurbish equipment while performing preventative, diagnostic, and corrective maintenance. Coordinate vendors, obtain approvals, and maintain service logs. Manage maintenance staff, train personnel on new tools, and handle emergency situations. Perform labor tasks including framing, drywall, painting, and furniture relocation, plus maintain grounds and operate snow removal equipment. Requires 7+ years of experience, HVAC expertise, and bilingual English/Spanish skills.
Required Qualifications
- HVAC and refrigeration knowledge and experience
- College degree required
- Minimum 7 years of experience maintaining a building and supervising staff
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
- Proficient in the use of snow removal equipment including safe operation of snowplow
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- ladder and high-lo experience
- College Degree required
- 7+ year experience in a facilities role managing staff
