Job Summary
Lead technical support and reliability engineering for the maintenance team by diagnosing complex facility issues, developing root-cause solutions, and improving system uptime. Provide oversight for critical infrastructure including boiler, compressed air, dust collection, fire detection, industrial electrical, and climate control systems while establishing standards and best practices. Optimize the CMMS system through data-driven insights, ensure accurate asset data, and manage inventory structures for spare parts. Execute construction and efficiency projects involving capital expenditure, evaluate equipment upgrades, and support TPM initiatives. Participate in an on-call rotation to assess and resolve off-hours safety emergencies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years of experience in manufacturing facility
- Strong experience using and optimizing a CMMS system
- Deep technical knowledge of: Boiler and steam systems
- Deep technical knowledge of: Compressed air systems
- Deep technical knowledge of: Dust collection systems
- Deep technical knowledge of: Industrial electrical systems
- Deep technical knowledge of: Climate Control systems
- Demonstrated success supporting maintenance teams in a technical leadership role
- Experience maintaining and improving performance in seasoning industrial facilities
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in wood products, cabinetry, or similar manufacturing
- Familiarity with PLCs, controls, and industrial automation
- Certification such as CMRP or similar reliability/maintenance credentials
- Experience with energy management or facility modernization
