Job Summary
Oversee the physical condition and operational efficiency of all company sites through regular inspections, emergency response, and prioritized maintenance scheduling. Manage HVAC, mechanical, and electrical systems including preventive contracts, generator checks, and plumbing repairs. Direct janitorial service providers, conduct quality audits, and oversee landscaping and specialty cleaning needs. Source, vet, and manage relationships with contractors and suppliers while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes. Assist in developing the annual maintenance budget and maintain a centralized lease database to support landlord-tenant obligations and site development processes. Requires frequent travel, potential weekend availability, and a driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in facilities management, building operations, or a related field
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems
- Experience managing vendors and service contracts
- Familiarity with lease administration concepts including CAM reconciliations, rent escalations, and landlord-tenant obligations
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel to multiple sites regularly with potential to travel on short notice for time-sensitive situations
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting or participating in new construction or tenant improvement projects
- Proficiency with facilities management software or CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field
- Relevant certifications (CFM, FMP)
