Job Summary
Facilities Manager responsible for the overall operations of the hotel maintenance department, overseeing HVAC and mechanical systems, energy management, and preventive maintenance while ensuring guest satisfaction and brand standards. Duties include repairing/servicing HVAC components, installing/adjusting thermostats and wiring, studying blueprints and manufacturers' specs, coordinating electrical work, inspecting systems, maintaining accurate work orders, testing and balancing systems, implementing energy-saving measures, supervising and scheduling maintenance staff, hiring/training team members, coordinating with outside contractors, managing parts and supplies within budget, ensuring safety and compliance, and supporting daily operations to keep the property in top condition. Requires strong communication, basic computer/record-keeping skills, and the ability to interpret maintenance-related information; minimum education of a high school diploma and at least two years of related experience.
