Job Summary
Lead the Facilities and Maintenance team by providing daily direction, coaching staff, and overseeing preventative maintenance programs to ensure operational standards. Coordinate repairs across guest rooms, public areas, and building systems while prioritizing requests to balance needs with guest experience. Manage vendor partnerships, assist with budgeting and inventory, and support capital improvement projects to maintain safe, efficient assets. Collaborate with hotel leadership on business objectives and sustainability initiatives while ensuring regulatory compliance and risk management. Requires 5+ years in facilities or commercial operations with leadership experience; occasional evenings, weekends, or emergencies required.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience within facilities, engineering, maintenance, or commercial building operations
- Working knowledge of building systems, preventative maintenance programs, and facility operations
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, coordinate vendors, manage multiple priorities, and solve complex operational challenges
- Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills
- Flexibility to support operational needs, including occasional evenings, weekends, or emergency situations
Desired Qualifications
- Hospitality, resort, hotel, healthcare, higher education, or other large commercial property experience
- Leadership and management experience
- Experience working with preventative maintenance or work order management systems
