Job Summary
Facilities Manager leading day-to-day operations at our Atlanta manufacturing facility, overseeing maintenance programs for building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety), space planning, and site-level projects. Owns budget stewardship, coordinates with Production, Engineering, Test, OSRC, Security, IT, and Workplace Operations, and drives operational readiness and continuous improvement in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
- 5–7 years of progressive experience in facilities management, industrial maintenance, manufacturing operations, construction management, or a related field
- Experience supporting aerospace, defense, advanced manufacturing, automotive, industrial, or similarly complex operating environments
- Strong working knowledge of commercial and industrial building systems, including HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, fire/life safety systems, building controls, compressed air, and industrial utilities
- Demonstrated experience leading facilities operations, maintenance programs, contractors, projects, and space planning activities within an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Experience managing operating budgets, variance reporting, expenditures, vendor contracts, and financial controls
- Demonstrated experience utilizing a CMMS or similar facilities management platform to manage assets, preventive maintenance programs, and work-order processes
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to assess operational risks, prioritize competing demands, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of ownership
- Ability to respond to urgent site issues outside of standard business hours when necessary
