Job Summary
Lead, coach, and grow a maintenance team across two Build-to-Rent sites in South Yarra, taking full ownership of reactive, planned, and statutory maintenance end-to-end. Diagnose, repair, and close out defects on time and budget while managing work orders, overseeing make-ready processes for vacant apartments, and delivering preventative maintenance for fire alarms, HVAC, and emergency lighting. Manage CapEx projects and budgets with autonomy, champion WHS and safety standards, and handle minimal on-call rotations primarily during business hours. This hands-on role offers stable Monday–Friday hours with real ownership of facilities operations in premium communities.
Required Qualifications
- Proven facilities/maintenance leadership experience
- Strong WHS, statutory compliance, and CapEx/budget management skills
- A valid driver's licence
- Ability to obtain a National Criminal History Check
- Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check
- Trade qualifications (electrical, plumbing, HVAC)
