Job Summary
Facilities Manager is responsible for managing and maintaining hospital facility operations including building systems, grounds, housekeeping, and infrastructure. Leads vendor management, scheduling, and preventive maintenance; administers CMMS (Service Channel) and maintains maintenance records. Ensures regulatory compliance (OSHA, hospital policies), responds to emergencies, supports infection control, and collaborates with leadership on capital projects and budget. Requires 5–7 years in facilities operations, knowledge of HVAC/plumbing/electrical/life-safety systems, and hospital/healthcare facility experience; leadership and team-management skills; on-call 24/7 with weekend availability; bilingual preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 5–7 years experience in facilities operations, including HVAC systems, construction oversight, and maintenance management
- CFM certification preferred
- Experience in a hospital or healthcare facility strongly preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising maintenance and custodial projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, elevator systems, and building automation
- Experience using CMMS platforms to manage and track tasks
- Bi-lingual preferred (Spanish/English)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, CMMS software, and reading blueprints/schematics
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements, local/state codes, and healthcare regulatory compliance
- Ability to prioritize multiple demands and respond calmly in emergency situations
- Weekend Availability - be available to work weekends; on call 24/7
