Job Summary
Beijing-based Facilities Manager to lead client Facilities Operations for the Beijing site. You will manage on-site day-to-day operations to deliver facility services per contract, lead a team, and drive client satisfaction. Key duties include procurement and vendor management, contract management (tendering, renegotiation, and documentation), financial management and budgeting, and oversight of facilities operations and energy/maintenance programs. You will monitor the preventive/planned maintenance program, ensure cost control, and support continuous quality improvement. The role emphasizes coordinating with regional operations, ensuring adherence to client requirements, and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. A technical background is preferred, with excellent communication skills a plus. 24/7 emergency call support is required, and the position is on-site at Beijing, China.
Required Qualifications
- Experience managing facilities operations for a large site or portfolio
- Vendor management and procurement experience
- Contract management including tendering, renegotiation, and documentation
- Finance management including budgeting and accounts payable processes
- Facilities operations management including Preventive and Planned Maintenance and energy management
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to implement and audit internal management systems for quality assurance
- Experience coordinating with regional operations and client stakeholders
- Ability to oversee on-site day-to-day operations and ensure client satisfaction
- Risk management and health and safety compliance
