Job Summary
Facilities Manager responsible for leading Occupancy staff in day-to-day activities, setting priorities for work and capital projects, ensuring safe work practices, developing and maintaining preventive maintenance programs, maintaining repair and preventive maintenance documentation, managing contracted work and reviewing invoices/estimates, preparing annual capital project lists for approval, managing the Occupancy Department budget, and assisting with recruiting, selecting and training Occupancy staff. Open to Piscataway or Bensalem locations. Proficiency with OSHA standards, forklift operation, aerial work platforms, MS Office (Excel/Word), and strong communication skills are required.
Required Qualifications
- High School and/or Vocational School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the skilled trades with progressive facility maintenance supervisory experience and/or equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
