Job Summary
Facilities Manager responsible for day-to-day operations of industrial spaces (office, production, manufacturing, and test support) in Central Ohio; manage MEP scope, end-to-end capital improvement projects, coordinate with equipment owners for space planning, oversee preventative and corrective maintenance programs, develop and maintain SOPs/docs, lead facilities staff, collaborate with EHS, oversee fire suppression/HVAC/plumbing systems, and support Workplace Manager to ensure seamless facility operation; requires strong project management, budgeting, engineering knowledge (electrical/hydraulic/mechanical), CMMS/ERM proficiency, vendor management, safety compliance, and ability to work with ambiguous environments and respond to emergencies; must be a U.S. Person.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of related experience supporting managing day-to-day operations and projects for aerospace, defense, automotive or other manufacturing facilities
- Demonstrated experience managing people and vendors
- Strong knowledge of Asset Life Cycle and budgeting
- Technical training in plant engineering or maintenance, or comparable professional experience
- Proficient in CMMS and ERM software
- Experience managing budgets for preventative and corrective maintenance programs
- Knowledge of operating and maintaining forklifts, aerial man lifts, gantry and overhead cranes and hoists
- Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems
- Certified Facility Manager credentials is a plus
- Knowledge of EHS in a facility
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to initiate, plan and manage projects; analyze data and develop solutions
- Independent worker who can work with ambiguity and drive to outcomes with minimal oversight
- Strong attention to detail and 100% compliance with all company and regulatory requirements
- Ability and willingness to handle emergencies outside of normal working hours
- Physical capability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs
- Knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations, applicable building codes, NFPA, and NEC
- Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities
