Job Summary
Oversee maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment and infrastructure while developing preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime. Manage facilities-related vendor relationships, service contracts, and the operating budget. Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations. Plan and manage facility upgrades, renovations, and new construction projects. Apply lean manufacturing principles and utilize CMMS software to optimize operations. This role requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of facilities management experience, including 3 years in manufacturing. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in facilities management, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience managing budgets, contractors, and multi-disciplinary teams
- Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing), safety regulations, and preventative maintenance programs
- Experience with CMMS software and project management tools
Desired Qualifications
- Proactive experience with predictive maintenance technologies (e.g., vibration analysis, thermal imaging)
- Demonstrated ability to implement and manage a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles as they apply to facilities management
- Knowledge of sustainable building practices and energy management systems
