Job Summary
Banterra Bank is seeking a motivated Facilities Management Intern to support a multi-location portfolio of bank facilities across Southern Illinois. The role combines administrative and light hands-on facilities tasks, with duties including data collection and analysis in Excel, project coordination, facility assessments, space planning, and support for design initiatives. The internship offers exposure to facilities operations through mentorship, travel to multiple branch locations, and hands-on learning in areas such as construction management, architectural studies, interior design, and business analytics. This paid, part-time internship (~30 hours/week) emphasizes organization, data management, vendor coordination, and preparation of summaries/reports for senior leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Current enrollment toward a degree in a related field required
- Minimum Junior or beyond collegiate experience required
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to interpret and create simple diagrams/layouts
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with internal and external customers
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Willingness to perform light on-site tasks (lifting, moving items) as needed
- Driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
