Job Summary
Paid Facilities Management Internship supporting operations across Banterra Bank facilities in Southern Illinois. Responsibilities include shadowing facilities operations, contributing to special projects, organizing records and data in Excel, analyzing maintenance and vendor data, coordinating facilities-related projects across branch locations, building a centralized facilities database and asset inventory, compiling historical data, assisting with basic on-site tasks (e.g., lifting or moving furniture), and preparing summaries and presentations for senior leadership. Ideal candidates are organized, proficient in Excel, comfortable with administrative and light hands-on facilities tasks, and pursuing studies in Construction Management, Architectural Studies, Interior Design, Business Analytics and/or Management, Engineering Technology, or related disciplines. The role involves frequent interactions with various departments and travel to multiple area branch locations. This is a paid internship, part-time (approximately 30 hours per week) with flexible scheduling for class commitments. Education and certifications indicate current enrollment in a related field and junior-level collegiate status. The internship emphasizes information security, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance across duties.
