Job Summary
Join our maintenance team at Temecula KOA campground to perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting, pool maintenance, and general repairs across our facilities. You’ll help ensure guest safety and satisfaction, handle custodial duties to maintain high cleanliness standards, and coordinate with office staff for problem resolution. Responsibilities include completing projects in a timely manner, enforcing campground policies, diagnosing and troubleshooting repairs, and supporting daily operations of the park. The role requires operation of tools and light equipment, strong communication with staff, and the ability to lift at least 50 lbs. Full-time with 32-40 hours/week shifts, scheduling varies Sunday through Saturday, with 8-hour shifts between 7am and 8pm. Salary starts at $18/hour, with potential increases based on experience, plus subsidized health insurance, paid vacation, and Simple IRA contributions after milestones.
Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge and skill with a variety of tools and equipment
- Experience operating a BobCat, tractor or other equipment is a plus
- Carpentry and remodel/construction skill is a plus
- Knowledge in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, irrigation and landscaping is appreciated
- Able to work with others and work independently
- Able to operate light vehicles safely on property
- Professional appearance and attitude towards guests and fellow team members
- Communicate professionally and patiently
- Be on your feet during shift and able to lift at least 50 lbs
- Ability to bend, climb, and dig repeatedly
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
