Job Summary
Oversee the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of YWCA facilities and grounds, ensuring buildings remain safe, clean, and functional for staff, clients, and residents. Monitor building systems including HVAC, water, electrical, emergency generators, and fire alarms; coordinate and monitor regular inspections of safety equipment and elevators to ensure compliance with codes and regulatory requirements. Complete work orders for routine maintenance, assist with contractor quotes, and coordinate landscaping, snow removal, and trash disposal. Maintain records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and compliance checks while securing all facility-related permits and licenses. Perform duties Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm with a 37.5-hour work week, including some on-call time as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in facilities maintenance, property management, or a related field
- Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) and grounds maintenance
- Strong understanding of safety and regulatory compliance standards (OSHA, ADA, fire codes, etc.)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office)
- Valid driver's license, insurance, and clean driver's history
- Must be able to provide Child Abuse, State Police, and FBI clearances
