Job Summary
Maintain Sun Country Airlines facilities including HVAC, electrical, lighting, roofing, fire suppression, and grounds across Headquarters, hangars, and leased airport spaces. Execute preventive maintenance within an annual budget while monitoring systems and addressing requests to ensure timely repairs. Perform lighting and infrastructure maintenance such as painting and hardware fixes in operational areas. Document work orders and incidents in facility management systems, communicating effectively regarding operational issues and safety concerns. Obtain an MSP SIDA badge and work in various weather conditions near moving mechanical parts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have general construction knowledge
- Must have basic electrical knowledge
- Must have basic plumbing abilities
- Must be able to troubleshoot HVAC issues
- Must have an ability to negotiate with contractors
- Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety roles, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Must be able to write routine reports and correspondence
- Must be able to communicate with employees and vendors regarding facility matters
- Must be able to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
- Must be able to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
- Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, clean driving record
- Qualified candidates must pass a criminal history background check
- Must be able to obtain MSP SIDA Badge
Desired Qualifications
- Minnesota Class C Boiler License
