Job Summary
Facilities Maintenance Technician responsible for keeping the Sparks facility running by performing routine and preventative maintenance on electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing systems; troubleshooting and repairing equipment; conducting inspections; ensuring safety compliance; maintaining service records; assisting with equipment installs and vendor coordination; and collaborating with warehouse and production teams to support projects. Requires the ability to read blueprints and manuals, use hand and power tools, and work independently on multiple tasks with strong attention to detail and communication skills. OSHA forklift training/ certification is a plus; background check and drug screening are required for safety-sensitive role.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications preferred)
- Hands-on experience with equipment and systems maintenance (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, mechanical) (3-5 years preferred)
- OSHA-compliant forklift training/certification preferred
- Certification in electrical, plumbing, or HVAC is a plus
