Job Summary
Facilities Maintenance Technician (Painter) in a high-rise residential property. Responsibilities include interior and exterior painting, drywall repairs, basic maintenance tasks, carpentry, plumbing, electrical repairs, HVAC filter changes, safety inspections, coordinating access for vendors, supporting move-ins/move-outs, and maintaining clean, safe common areas. Must work well independently and as part of a team, participate in on-call rotations, and ensure high-quality workmanship and strong resident service.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in painting, maintenance, facilities support, apartment communities, hotels, or similar environments preferred.
- Experience with drywall repair, painting preparation, and basic maintenance tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Customer-service mindset with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and respond to after-hours emergencies when needed.
- Commitment to workplace safety and following established procedures.
