Job Summary
Perform maintenance and repairs throughout CU facilities as assigned, manage small dollar contract agreements for recurring vendors including landscaping and snowplowing, and respond to staff facilities-related requests. Maintain inventory systems for supplies and maintenance products while adhering to safety standards complying with NorthCountry, State, and Federal guidelines. Complete facilities-related courses as identified by the Facilities Manager and develop working knowledge of credit union policies and software systems. Requires three to five years of experience, a two-year college degree or specialized certification, and mechanical aptitude for basic repairs. Valid driver's license required.
Required Qualifications
- Three years to five years of similar or related experience
- A two-year college degree
- Completion of a specialized certification or licensing
- Completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors
- Job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance, for example, painting, simple plumbing and carpentry
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to regularly lift 25 to 50 pounds
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 100 pounds
- Must be able to climb stairs
- Must be able to use a ladder
