Job Summary
Perform routine and preventative maintenance on electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing systems while troubleshooting and repairing equipment issues. Conduct inspections to maintain service records, ensure safety compliance, and keep workspaces clean and organized. Assist with equipment installs, upgrades, and vendor coordination while collaborating with warehouse and production teams. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to manage multiple tasks independently. This hands-on role supports our Sparks facility operations and warehouse teams, requiring a professional attitude and strong troubleshooting skills in a full-time, onsite Monday–Friday schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and complex instructions
- Strong comprehension of written materials
- Basic math skills
- Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagrammed instructions
- Skilled with hand and power tools
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and teams
- 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Hands-on experience with equipment and systems maintenance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with accommodations or support
Desired Qualifications
- Technical certifications
- 3-5 years experience with equipment and systems maintenance
- OSHA-compliant forklift training/certification
- Certification in electrical, plumbing, or HVAC
