Job Summary
Facilities Maintenance Technician needed to ensure smooth operation of Midtown Palatine club facilities. Responsibilities include troubleshooting facility and fitness equipment, performing regular upkeep and maintenance of club property, implementing preventative maintenance standards, and maintaining a safe, clean, and functional environment for members and staff. Requires minimum three years of facilities maintenance experience and working knowledge across roofing, mechanical equipment, electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, carpentry, and/or painting. Must be self-directed with strong communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines. Compensation $20.00-$25.00 per hour; health insurance for eligible full-time associates (30+ hours/week).
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of experience in facilities maintenance
- Working knowledge of roofing, mechanical equipment, electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, carpentry, and/or painting
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot facility and equipment-related issues
- Self-directed with little supervision
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
