Facilities Maintenance Technician

Perform general maintenance on a daily basis, including replacing light bulbs, repairing electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliances. Prepare resident rooms for new occupants by painting, cleaning carpets, and conducting general maintenance. Maintain grounds by mowing, sweeping, and trimming trees and shrubs. Conduct daily inspections of the building exterior, ground equipment, storage rooms, work rooms, and utility closets. Keep accurate maintenance records of work done, inventory, and purchasing while managing expenses through knowledge of the budget. Requires two years of related maintenance experience and formal training in carpentry, plumbing, painting, HVAC, refurbishing, and cleaning. Supervisory/leadership experience is necessary. Must be knowledgeable in building codes and safety regulations.
