Job Summary
Facilities Maintenance Technician at Jane Pauley Community Health Center supports the daily operations and upkeep of JPCHC locations across Indiana, ensuring facilities remain safe, compliant, and fully operational for patients and staff. The role involves routine maintenance and repairs (doors, windows, walls, flooring, fixtures, equipment), patching and painting, installing shelving and furnishings, maintaining lighting, and following preventive maintenance schedules. You will travel between sites to support facility needs, coordinate with vendors and contractors, collaborate with clinic staff and leadership to address facility concerns, and provide after-hours support as needed, all while upholding OSHA standards and safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic repair skills
- Knowledge of general maintenance practices and building systems
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
