Job Summary
Perform repairs and maintenance in plant or office facilities, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and welding. Conduct routine inspections to determine necessary repair work, test machines, and troubleshoot equipment using blueprints and technical diagrams. Act as a team lead by delegating tasks, reviewing work product, and training lower-level employees. Execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs while adhering to safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures. This role is onsite at the Memphis facility, second shift Monday-Friday (2pm-10:30pm). Requires high school diploma and 5+ years of facilities experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 5+ years of Facilities/Maintenance experience
- Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment
- Knowledge of safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and OSHA requirements
- Basic computer skills for reporting, documentation, and communication
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and electrical diagrams
- Experience supporting continuous improvement or reliability initiatives
Desired Qualifications
- Background in multiple maintenance trades (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, welding, or HVAC)
- Experience performing preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Familiarity with CMMS systems for work orders, asset tracking, and maintenance documentation
- Experience troubleshooting automated or semi‐automated equipment
- Prior experience leading or mentoring maintenance technicians or acting as a lead
- Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A)
