Job Summary
Conduct assigned repair and maintenance projects and responsibilities on a timely basis, adhering to all safety procedures and quality standards to minimize impact on members and guests. Assist the Facilities Director in maintaining well-operational facilities and equipment across resort-style clubs. Perform tasks requiring experience with exercise equipment and pools, including reading and following checklists and project instructions. Work with minimal supervision while lifting up to 100 pounds. Flexible schedules are desired, as weekend, evening, and holiday coverage may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with exercise equipment and pools
- Knowledge of safe and proper use of tools, machinery, cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- At least 4 years in a 'handyman' or repair technician role with broad exposure to different types of equipment and systems
- Ability to read, understand and follow checklists, project instructions, and the directions on the equipment and chemicals used in performing duties
- Ability to follow instructions to completion
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- CPO certificate (must be obtained within 90 days of hire)
