Job Summary
Facilities Maintenance Technician II responsible for maintaining and repairing facility systems (electrical, HVAC, plumbing), performing preventive maintenance, replacing filters and door hardware, and overseeing minor projects and sub-contractor activity. Must troubleshoot electrical issues, manage floors/walls/doors, use CMMS/work orders, and ensure timely, high-quality service delivery in a school setting. Requires 5+ years of maintenance experience; a trade license/certificate is preferred; basic computing skills; ability to complete safety training; valid driver’s license; and successful background and drug screening. Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of general maintenance experience
- Craft license or certificate in one trade preferred (HVAC, Carpentry or Electrical)
- Basic computer knowledge including work order systems and email
- Must be able to complete required safety classes
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be able to pass BCI and FBI background check as well as Drug Screen
