Job Summary
Perform routine and preventative maintenance across multiple facilities, executing minor repairs in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. Clear plumbing stoppages, assess maintenance issues for internal resolution or vendor support, and conduct regular safety inspections of fire extinguishers and emergency equipment. Maintain and troubleshoot large equipment including forklifts and scissor lifts, manage inventory, transport tools between locations, and complete other duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager. This role supports day-to-day facility operations, equipment maintenance, and safety compliance at Zone 5 Technologies. Candidates must have 2+ years of hands-on facilities experience, current forklift certification, and proficiency with hand and power tools.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of facilities maintenance, warehouse, or similar hands-on work experience
- Current forklift and scissor lift certification/experience
- Proficiency with hand and power tools (skill saws, table saws, jig saws, drills, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions, technical manuals, and maintenance documentation
- Intermediate computer skills (email, work order systems, basic software)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs. individually and 100 lbs. with assistance
- Comfortable standing, walking, reaching, and performing physical labor throughout the workday
- Valid Driver's License
- U.S. Citizen
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in facilities maintenance or manufacturing environment
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- Experience maintaining maintenance logs and work order documentation
- Basic troubleshooting skills across multiple trade disciplines
- Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs
