Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Perform repairs and improvements to the facility, including painting, plumbing, minor electrical work, flooring, lighting, and common grounds. Execute preventative and planned maintenance on equipment, assist with large compressors up to 300HP, and process oily water from separators. Utilize cutting equipment like oxy/acetylene torches and manage waste-water control systems and reverse osmosis processes. Conduct safe lifting operations using rigging, air hoists, and cranes while performing lock-out/tag-out procedures and confined space training. Assist general maintenance functions such as equipment pickup, parts delivery, and stocking satellite storage areas. Maintain organized inventory and fill out logistical forms. Requires basic HVAC knowledge up to 20 tons and electrical systems up to 480V.
Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of HVAC up to 20 tons
- Plumbing knowledge
- Electrical systems knowledge up to 480V
- Ability to use cutting equipment such as oxy/acetylene torches
- Basic knowledge of waste-water control systems
- Basic knowledge of reverse osmosis systems
- Process management knowledge
- Ability to provide safe lifting operations using rigging equipment, air hoist and cranes
- Ability to perform lock-out/tag-out procedures
- Confined space training
