Job Summary
Perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance on HVAC, utility, electrical, and plumbing systems by observing devices to locate root causes, dismantling components to replace defective parts, and testing performance. Independently troubleshoot and analyze control systems to resolve software, hardware, and configuration problems while utilizing predictive maintenance technologies to collect equipment data. Operate multiple machining operations including lathes and drill presses to make and repair parts, and identify and source necessary supplies. Comply with 5S standards, safety policies, and Lockout/Tagout procedures while assisting lower-level technicians in training and development.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent (GED)
- Associates degree with a Technical focus and 3 years of related experience in general industry
- 5 years of related experience in general industry
- successful completion of the ATS Technician Progression Program
- Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate
- May be required to travel
- Must occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- EPA Universal Certification highly preferred
- Understands HVAC, utility, electrical, and plumbing systems
