Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance throughout the facility, troubleshooting general repairs including plumbing, basic electrical, carpentry, lighting, doors, locks, drywall, flooring, and shelving. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs while safely operating hand and power tools. Collaborate with the Safety Department to identify and correct unsafe conditions, report building deficiencies, and maintain logs and work orders. Uphold all safety policies, OSHA regulations, Lockout/Tagout procedures, and PPE requirements. Lift up to 50 pounds and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Assist with facility improvements, renovations, installations, and special projects as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of commercial, industrial, or facilities maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience performing general building repairs
- Working knowledge of plumbing, basic electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and determine practical repair solutions
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to safely perform physical work throughout the workday
