Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry issues across park buildings, playgrounds, and life safety systems while performing daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance inspections and repairs. Maintain accurate documentation of all work in Computer Maintenance Management Software and manage assigned tasks independently with minimal supervision. Respond promptly to internal requests and unexpected needs across the park, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local safety laws and proper use of PPE. Work varying shifts including open, mid, closing, overnight, weekends, and holidays. Lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders in diverse weather conditions.
Required Qualifications

- Broad working knowledge in facilities maintenance trades including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
- Have detail-oriented problem-solving skills.
- Must have the ability to work with and interact positively with guests.
- Must have basic computer knowledge.
- Must have knowledge of hand / power tools used in the trade.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must possess a valid state-issued driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record.
- A high school or equivalency diploma is required.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds.
- Must be comfortable with exposure to noise and vibrations.
- Must be able to work indoors / outdoors in a variety of weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, etc.
- Must be able to climb ladders and work at heights.
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Must have the visual and auditory acuity plus communication skills needed for park general safety practices.
- Must be able to work in a variety of noise volume levels.
- Must be able to bend, reach, twist and turn with complete flexibility and maneuver in and around tight spaces.
- Must be comfortable working around fumes/dust/odor and handling chemicals with training (grease, oil, etc.).
- Must be available to work varying shifts/hours based on business need including open, mid, closing shifts, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
- Applicants, regardless of whether they are a medical marijuana licensee, must receive a negative result on a 10-panel, pre-placement drug screening to include THC, prior to beginning work.
Desired Qualifications
- Heavy equipment operating skills and knowledge
- Experience with playground equipment maintenance and repair is a plus.
- Relevant certifications are preferred but not required.
