Job Summary
Facilities Maintenance Technician responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Facilities Maintenance Department across club facilities (clubhouse, pool and fitness pavilion, racquet facilities, locker rooms, kitchens, and administrative spaces). The role handles routine maintenance and repairs, may assist with basic plumbing, electrical work, lighting, painting, carpentry, and general repairs, updates and closes work orders, assists with event setup/breakdown, ensures safety and cleanliness, conducts inspections, coordinates with the Facilities Director, and represents the club professionally in interactions with members, guests, and staff.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in general maintenance, facilities support, construction, or a related field is preferred
- Prior experience in pool maintenance and operations
- Basic working knowledge of tools, equipment, and maintenance practices
- Experience with a maintenance management system preferred
- Knowledge of procedures for performing routine repairs and service on structures and building systems such as electrical wiring, HVAC systems, boilers, plumbing fixtures and septic and sewage systems
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior facilities staff
- Ability to use common tools and equipment (adjustable/Allen wrenches, caulking guns, cordless drills, electrical multimeters)
- Ability to move heavy objects and access hard-to-reach areas
- Understanding of maintenance safety standards and proper PPE use
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail

- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently
- Positive attitude and commitment to service excellence
- Flexible scheduling based on operational needs; weekends/holidays rotation
