Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Conduct daily maintenance, repairs, and inspections of EPI residential and office properties to ensure safety and functionality. Perform carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC tasks including installing fixtures, replacing filters, fixing wiring, and patching drywall. Complete emergency repairs, coordinate with the Facilities Manager on new equipment, and manage inventory and supply orders. Maintain logs of daily activities and report hazardous conditions or complex needs to supervisors. Collaborate with contract workers during renovations and adhere to strict safety regulations and company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum High School Degree or GED
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience in general maintenance and carpentry in residential/group homes, apartments, and/or senior living facilities
- Must possess and maintain a valid NYS Driver's License
- use of an agency vehicle is required for business travel
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
