Job Summary
Perform installation, maintenance, preventative maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring and equipment across low to high voltage systems. Execute basic troubleshooting for electrical circuits while working with conduits, wires, pull boxes, switch boxes, and switches. Observe and report discrepancies, discuss tasks and projects to suggest appropriate completion methods, and submit work order completion reports accurately. Operate vehicles, equipment, and hand/power tools as necessary, while maintaining issued tools, equipment, keys, and uniforms. Assist other personnel as directed and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED
- Basic knowledge and experience working with electricity
- Ability to diagnose problems and determine proper repair procedures
- Experience with hand and power tools
- Knowledge of basic safety requirements, procedures, and techniques
- Ability and willingness to learn new skills, knowledge, and techniques
Desired Qualifications
- Trade school graduate
- Journeyman or Master's License
