Job Summary
Facilities Maintenance Technician responsible for preventative maintenance and repair across multiple Alaska facility sites, including troubleshooting HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems; perform carpentry, drywall, painting, and general repairs; coordinate with vendors and external contractors; travel between Anchorage, Mat-Su area, Fairbanks, and Sterling locations; maintain professional communication with store managers and teammates; document work orders and facility concerns; participate in on-call or emergency responses as needed; requires valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds; pre-employment drug testing and background checks are conducted; benefits include PTO, holiday pay, medical/dental/vision, 401K with employer match, and employee discounts; EPA/HVAC certifications preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in commercial facilities maintenance or related field
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to safely use tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Able to lift/push up to 50 pounds
- Able to be on feet for 8 hours
- Pre-employment drug & alcohol testing and background check
