Job Summary
Conduct periodic and general maintenance throughout the facility, including hydraulic, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and electrical repairs. Perform inspections of doors, dock plates, and building areas to recognize and troubleshoot problems before breakdowns occur. Independently repair racking, replace batteries, fix lighting, and fabricate parts while maintaining complete repair order records. Ensure all equipment operates safely according to company procedures and follow strict safety protocols. Requires at least four years of industrial maintenance experience with current licenses and own tools.
Required Qualifications
- at least four years' experience or training in the maintenance field

- good background in electrical
- good background in refrigeration
- good background in plumbing
- good background in carpentry
- good background in general building repairs
- ability to do repetitious arm, wrist and hand movements required for maintenance and service procedures
- ability to work with hands and arms overhead
- ability to work in or under the equipment
- manual dexterity
- overall coordination
- good balance
- ability to operate work related equipment, such as power equipment and hand tools, forklifts and pallet jacks and diagnostic equipment
- mental alertness
- ability to read and comprehend all labeling on hazardous materials and equipment in the facility
