Job Summary
Responsible for maintaining the main controls for the Dematic System to ensure safety and productivity; perform preventive and predictive maintenance on Dematic machinery; assist in Equipment Validation; troubleshoot electromechanical systems including PLC controls and servos; connect a PC to a PLC and make minor code changes under Engineering direction; read prints and schematics; proficient with eMaint for troubleshooting and documenting repairs; assist in development of department talent; work with basic reports to solve issues; schedule vendor appointments for facility issues; communicate effectively with peers and other departments; maintain accurate service records in the Qware system; perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned by Operations Manager and Co Pack Supervisors.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 4+ years of experience performing mechanical maintenance duties in a manufacturing/packaging environment, or equivalent combination of vocational education and experience
